FIRE crews across Dorset and Wiltshire observed a minute silence for firefighter Simon Kaye.

Mr Kaye was taken ill during a “routine shift” on the morning on April 14.
He was given treatment by colleagues and medics and taken to Royal Bournemouth Hospital but died.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: “At 11am this morning (Monday) firefighters across Dorset & Wiltshire observed a minute silence for FF Simon Kaye who sadly passed away after taking ill at Christchurch fire station last Monday during a routine day shift.”
It was believed that Mr Kaye’s death was not related to the coronavirus outbreak.
