NEARLY 100 people have now died in hospitals in Dorset after contracting coronavirus, NHS England figures have revealed.
Three more deaths have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 99 for the county.
40 of those deaths have come at the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, a rise of one.
At Poole Hospital, 30 people have died, no change from the last 24 hours.
22 people have died at the Dorset County Hospital, rising by one.
A seventh person has passed away under the care of the Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.
In England, 16,272 people have now died in hospitals, a rise of 665.
