A MAN was caught behind the wheel of car while still being banned from driving.

Ilie-Florin Niculescu, of Redhill Drive, Bournemouth, committed the offence in a Peugeot on January 14, 2018 in Mossley Avenue, Poole..

Appearing before Poole Magistrates' Court on Thursday, April 16, he admitted the offence and was handed an £80 and ordered to pay a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. His driving record was also endorsed.

Niculescu, aged 31, also admitted that he was driving the vehicle without insurance. He was fined £100 for this offence and his driving record was endorsed with six points.
