FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze on Upton Heath after being alerted to the incident by several calls from members of the public.
Crews from Poole and Hamworthy fire stations attended the scene at 8.22pm on Wednesday.
Two fire engines with pumps, a water carrier and a Land Rover were mobilised,
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service said: "Once in attendance a fire of approximately 200 square metres was located.
"This was extinguished using beaters and aquapacks."
