MORE than 100 people have now died in hospitals in Dorset after contracting coronavirus, NHS England figures have revealed.
Four more deaths have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 103 for the county.
Some 43 of those deaths have come at the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, a rise of three.
At Poole Hospital, 31 people have died, one more compared to the previous 24 hours.
Meanwhile 22 people have died at the Dorset County Hospital, no increase on the day before.
And the seven people who have passed away under the care of the Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust has not increased compared to the previous day.
In England, 16,786 people have now died in hospitals, a rise of 514.
