BOURNEMOUTH Collegiate School has donated over 1000 items of PPE equipment to Canford Chase Care Home in a bid to help protect staff and residents from coronavirus.
The school has donated science goggles and over 800 medical gloves, following their long standing relationship with Colten Care Homes.
Staff, who have been supporting key worker children over Easter, stepped in and cleaned the goggles ready to be used.
Headmaster, Russell Slatford said: "We are delighted to be able to help local care homes at a time when we all need to pull together. Schools across Dorset are doing all they can to support national services during these unprecedented times.
"BCS will continue to strive to meet the needs of our students, families and wider school communities."
