'Did they think we wouldn't see them?' Cars stopped in the dark by police lead to further investigation
POLICE checking vehicles on the A30 dual carriageway said cars stopped in the dark resulted in ongoing investigations.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team were on patrol between Sherborne and Yeovil on Tuesday.
Three drivers were also dealt with for speeding.
A spokesman said: "Generally most were driving sensibly, good to see, and the roads were quieter but we have to keep the speed down.
"Not sure if it had any connection but when it got dark the only two cars stopped resulted in ongoing investigations. Did they think we wouldn't see them?"
