DORSET-based Margaret Green Animal Rescue rehomes cats, dogs, farm and small animals.
Peter, a six-year-old long haired cat with an affectionate nature, has found the perfect forever home in a lovely rural setting, which is ideal for him.
His new owners said: "It did not take Peter long to settle in and within a few days he became a very loveable lap cat.
"He loves exploring outside in his new surroundings and has been seen in all areas of our land. He gets on will with our daughter - five months old - and enjoys laying next to her and lets her stroke his fur. He even rubs his face on her hand to get affection. Peter is very vocal and soon lets us know when he's hungry or wants to go out. We have had a few situations where he has eaten food off the side, so we now have to be careful what we leave unattended. All-in-all he has settled in very well and is getting used to our busy routine and even comes and follows me around while I feed the chickens and sheep."
