A PARKED motorhome was "significantly damaged" by a vehicle that fled the scene of the late-night crash.
Police are investigating the fail-to-stop collision, which took place in Haskells Road, Poole, at around 11.40pm on Friday, April 17.
It was reported that a vehicle crashed into the motorhome that was parked in the road. Shortly afters a dark-coloured pick-up truck was seen to drive away from the area in the direction of Cranbrook Road towards Cynthia Road.
Officers said the motorhome sustained "significant damage" in the incident.
PC Clare Gillard, of Poole police, said: “It is likely that the other vehicle involved in the collision will have damage to its front end. I am keen to speak to the driver of this vehicle in order to establish the circumstances of the incident.
“I also am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have information that could assist in my investigation to please get in touch.
“I would urge anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage to contact us and would also like to hear from anyone who is aware of a pick-up truck in the area that has sustained damage in unexplained circumstances recently.”
