A CHRISTCHURCH man accused of attacking two women has appeared in court.
Owen Alan Ackers, aged 22 and of Lineside, Burton, appeared before Poole Magistrates' Court on Friday, April 24, following a reported assault involving a knife last week.
Ackers faces two charges of unlawful and malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and a further charge of breaching a restraining order.
Police were called to Lineside shortly before midnight on Tuesday, April 21, to reports that two women had suffered injuries. They were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening.
Ackers was remanded into custody and will appear before the courts again on Thursday, May 28, at Bournemouth Crown Court.
