TRAINS were unable to run between Bournemouth and Southampton Central this morning.
A tree on the railway line in the Brockenhurst area meant all lines were blocked.
The incident occurred at 7.36am this morning.
The tree has now been removed from the railway line allowing lines to reopen.
However, National Rail said trains at Brockenhurst may still be cancelled, delayed or revised as normal service resumes.
Disruption is expected until 12pm.
Cross Country and South Western Railway services are affected.
National Rail said earlier that some trains between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier would also be cancelled.
