552 more people die in hospitals in England after testing positive for coronavirus
ANOTHER 552 people who tested positive for the Coronavirus have died in the past 24 hours, NHS England has said.
The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England now stands at 19,301.
Patients were aged between 31 and 99 years old.
Out of the 552 patients, 38 of them – aged between 36 and 99-years-old – had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
A total of 26 deaths were recorded in hospitals in the south west.
