A POLICE investigation has been launched after a man appeared to be headbutted outside a Co-op store in Poole.
A video showing an altercation outside the store in Creekmoor has been viewed hundreds of times on social media.
A spokesman for Dorset Police told the Daily Echo: “At around 5.40pm on Friday April 24 Dorset Police received a report of a customer being verbally abusive toward a member of the security staff at the Co-Op store in Creekmoor in Poole. It was further reported that the same male customer made threats toward a member of the public outside the store.
“There was an altercation outside the store and the customer was reportedly assaulted by the member of the public.
“Officers have spoken to all individuals involved and are carrying out an investigation into the incident. No arrests have been made at this stage.”
