A MAN who threatened to spit at a community safety officer and racially abused another was arrested in Bournemouth Square.
Police received a report that a man was being verbally abusive and making threats to a community safety officer at 11.42am on Tuesday.
It was reported that the man threatened to spit at the CSAS officer and made racially abusive comments to a Police Community Support Officer who attended to assist.
The 29-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and a racially aggravated public order offence and was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
