POLICE are carrying out "extensive searches" for a missing man in Poole.
At 11.44am today, officers recieved a report of concern for the welfare of Antony Wallis, aged 45, who was in the Hamworthy area.
He is described as white, five feet six inches tall and of medium build.
Police say he was wearing a black waterproof jacket with a bright blue Adidas hooded top underneath, dark-coloured trousers with a Nike logo on the left leg and navy blue trainers.
Antony also wears glasses.
Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “Antony is understood to have been very upset recently and we are carrying out extensive searches to find him as we want to make sure he is all right.
“I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.
“I would also appeal to Antony directly if you see this to please make contact with us or your family so we can ensure you are safe and well.”
