A BOURNEMOUTH hotel has reopened for key workers.
Ocean Beach Hotel, on East Overcliff Drive, took the decision to reopen and said it was “in line with government advice”.
A post on the hotel’s Facebook page said: “In line with government guidelines announced on 23rd March, we are delighted to announce that we are opening our Ocean Beach Hotel, Bournemouth for key workers only from Friday 1st May.
“We are respecting all government guidelines and safe distancing practices and contactless check in/check out will be in operation throughout this difficult time.
“You will be asked for proof that you are a key worker to ensure we are abiding by government protocol.
“If you have a key worker accommodation enquiry, please contact us on sales@oceanahotels.co.uk and we will be happy to assist.
“Oceana Hotels will continue to review the governments advice and will update the situation accordingly.
“We want to thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging time and we are really looking forward to welcoming all our Oceana Guests back as soon as possible and when safe to do so.”
Oceana Hotels declined to comment when approached by the Daily Echo.
