THE second flight delivering a large haul of personal protective equipment (PPE) for NHS workers landed at Bournemouth Airport yesterday.
In the latest charter delivered by European Aviation, the Airbus A340, now known at 'Nightingale 1', brought back 10million pairs of surgical gloves from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
As reported, the company is set to carry out eight trips to Asia and back to help provide essential PPE to the frontline.
On Tuesday, April 28, the same aircraft touched down on the runway at Hurn packed with 125,000 surgical gowns that had been collected from China.
European Aviation founder Paul Stoddart said staff are working flatout to make sure they can complete the flights and provide equipment for the NHS as soon as possible.
