A BOY has saved a small frog that got itself wedged into a watering can.
Oscar Jephcott, 10, spotted the frog whilst he was helping his father clean out the shed in their back garden in Broadstone, Poole.
Oscar's dad, Robbie Jephcott, said: "I've got a man cave down at the bottom of the garden that doesn't have any walls so it is open to the elements.
"Oscar and I were clearing out some excess wood when Oscar picked up the watering can and saw that there was a frog stuck in the spout.
"He banged the side of the can and used his finger to gently persuade the frog to go backwards down the spout and into the can.
"He released the frog into our garden which has a spring at the bottom of it so we hope it has gone there."
