THESE are the charred remains of a beach hut after a major fire broke out and spread up a cliff at Bournemouth.
The dramatic fire happened in front of shocked beachgoers on Monday afternoon.
Three beach huts and 100 sqm of heath were affected by the blaze which was tackled by eight fire crews.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire started accidentally in a beach hut after a camping stove was knocked over accidentally.
These pictures of the aftermath were captured by Daniel Cogan.
People were told to avoid the area yesterday afternoon and keep their doors and windows closed.
The fire was brought under control at around 5.30pm.
