“They are ready to welcome guests and have all necessary measures in place to make sure that everyone is protected and can be assured of a fantastic weekend.
“For some hotels this could be the most important weekend of the year so far – the hot weather could mean the difference between surviving or failing.
“We would also urge everyone to be sensible – ‘to know before you go’.
“No one wants another major incident declared, businesses have restrictions in place and we’d like to ask people to observe them.
“Please also make sure that you leave nothing but footprints in the sand - take your rubbish with you and keep our beaches looking gorgeous.
“All in all, the beaches are looking superb, the sea is warm, and our pubs, restaurants and shops are ready for the influx.”
