THIS is an appeal to anyone with no brain cells that think it’s so good of them to dump whatever they want to get rid of in charity shop doorways. It’s flytipping with an easy conscience.
Please do not assume that you are giving to charity. When a sign in the window says “Please do not leave anything in doorway”, it means exactly that and if you have the delusion that charities should be grateful for anything you decide to donate, please note.
Charity shops, mainly manned by volunteers, do not have unlimited capacity. When you ignore the signs, you are doing the exact opposite of giving to charity.
Who do you think has the responsibility for disposing of your rubbish? Most things left are not fit for resale and I am sure “dumpers” are well aware of this.
The mentality of people is just beyond comprehension.
