CREATIVE pupils at The Bourne Academy in Bournemouth have designed the packaging and created the slogan for a new energy bar.
Year 11 students, Amy Lewis, Toby Durham and Lina Salata, came up with slogan 'Let's Get ready to Crumble' and designed the packaging for Apple Rumble - the latest addition to the Grenade range.
And the students along with their Year 11 classmates were filmed for the advert ahead of the bar's global launch.
Amy, Toby and Lina were instrumental in the filming of the new advert to market the energy bar, proudly showing off their work and their creativity in front of the film crew.
The filming of the advert featured a giant cardboard version of the Grenade Carb Killa bar, thrown to the trio as students in Year 11 tutor groups boldly shouted “Lets Get Ready To Crumble” in the background.
The white chocolate-smothered, apple crumble bar which bears a grenade symbol and features the slogan Lets Get Ready To Crumble has now been launched globally and hit the market on Monday (October 12).
And Amy, Toby and Lina won the National Enterprise Challenger 2020, which was held in the summer, thanks to their innovation and creativity in designing the packaging for the new Grenade energy bar.
The students are delighted with their win and their filming success, which could act as a springboard for further career success.
Vicky Woodings, Head of Careers and Enterprise at The Bourne Academy, said: “I could not be prouder of the resilience, creativity and hard work demonstrated by every member of the team. The students have created a strong brand and an engaging and memorable advert.”
