MORE than 210 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Dorset over the last 24 hours, latest figures show.
Data released by the government shows 210 people tested positive in Dorset in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on October 28.
142 of these cases came in the BCP Council area, taking the total since the start of the pandemic to 3,499.
The rolling rate of infections in the BCP Council area, in the seven days leading up to October 23, stood at 202.4 per 100,000 people.
In the Dorset Council area, 68 people tested positive, taking the total to 1,850.
The rolling rate in the Dorset Council area stood at 110.7 per 100,000.
Elsewhere, 32 people tested positive in the New Forest, taking the total to 1,088. The rolling rate stood at 97.2.
