A MAN was taken to hospital after falling from a roof inside a Poole industrial unit at an “illegal rave”.
Police were called to the Wessex Gate Industrial Unit at 1.27am on November 1 to reports of a large gathering in the Brantano warehouse.
Witnesses reported seeing an “illegal rave” with bottles thrown at officers.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Officers attended and liaised with the occupants. It was reported officers had to deal with public disorder at the location.
“While on the scene, officers became aware of an injured man inside the property having reportedly fallen from a roof within the building.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries that are not believed to be serious.
“The group was dispersed from the area to allow for the safety of officers and members of the public at the scene and to treat the injured person.
“No arrests were made and no fines were issued at the time of the incident. Evidence will now be reviewed in order to determine further enforcement action.
“Local neighbourhood officers are continuing to work with the community to help raise awareness of the rule of six restrictions currently in place.
“We would like to remind everyone that they have a social responsibility to stick with these rules to prevent the further spread of coronavirus.”
