ANOTHER patient has died with Covid-19 in a Dorset hospital, according to the latest data.
Figures from NHS England show the death occurred at the Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust on Wednesday, November 11.
Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, a total of 213 people have died with the virus in Dorset hospitals.
The Royal Bournemouth Hospital has recorded 68 deaths and Poole Hospital has had 87.
With 25 deaths recorded at Dorset County Hospital and 23 at the Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.
A further 10 have been confirmed under the NHS Trust University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
In an update on Friday, November 13, NHS officials said another 246 people who tested positive for the coronavirus had died.
The total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England is 35,886.
Patients were aged between 26 and 100 years old.
All except five, aged between 69 and 89, had known underlying health conditions.
Date of death ranges from October 18 and November 12, 2020, with the majority being on or after November 8.
A spokesperson said their families have been informed.
