A FURTHER coronavirus-related death has been registered at Poole Hospital in the last 24 hours.
Figures released today by NHS England reveal there have now been 97 hospital deaths in Poole, 87 in the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Trust, 25 in Dorset County Hospital and 23 in the Dorset Healthcare University Trust.
Five coronavirus hotspots revealed in BCP Council area
A total of 316 deaths of people in hospitals in England who tested positive for Covid-19 were revealed today bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 38,112.
Patients were aged between 28 and 102 years old. All except five (aged 64-96) had known underlying health conditions.
Two arrested at anti-lockdown protest in Bournemouth
The highest death toll was in the North East and Yorkshire at 84 with 75 in the North West, 72 in the Midlands, 29 in the South West, 20 in London and 18 in each of the South East and East of England.
