ALMOST 30 locations in Dorset have five or fewer new cases of coronavirus, an interactive map has revealed.
Using data from Public Health England, the map shows how many people have tested positive for the virus in each area of the county over the seven-day period up to Saturday, November 21.
Public Health England breaks down the numbers of coronavirus cases into neighbourhoods called 'Middle Super Output Areas' (MSOAs) based on population.
For smaller areas (eg MSOAs) with fewer than three cases, they appear in white on the map to indicate "suppressed" rates. This also helps to protect individuals' identities.
The interactive map allows users to enter their postcode and see how many cases were reported in their area and if it has increased or decreased from the week before. The darker the colour on the map, the more positive test results have been recorded.
Anywhere that is shown in purple is deemed a coronavirus 'hotspot'.
