BOURNEMOUTH University and Arts University Bournemouth confirmed there were 14 new coronavirus cases recorded among their communities in the latest seven-day reporting period.
In the week up to Friday, November 27, BU said there were 13 positive Covid-19 cases across the whole institution's population of 1,723 staff and 16,606 students.
Meanwhile, AUB recorded just a single case involving a student.

A statement from BU said: "This figure is the number of new cases reported to us, regardless of location, with some members of the BU community working and studying outside the BCP area.
"These cases are distributed throughout the university and there is no significant outbreak in any particular course, hall of residence or other part of the institution."
From December 1, BU is offering mass asymptomatic testing to all students to support the Government’s plans around students returning home for Christmas.
This process is expected to run until December 9.
"Therefore, while the case numbers at BU have fallen over recent weeks, there may be an increase in the number of cases we report as a result of this increased level of testing and which will not automatically represent an outbreak at the university," BU's statement added.
