THE number of new Covid-19 cases recorded in the BCP Council area stand at 44, according to the latest government update.
The Department of Health and Social Care website shows 58 were recorded across Dorset in 24 hours up to 4pm on Thursday.
In the BCP area, 44, new cases were reported, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 7,583.
Meanwhile, in the Dorset Council area 14 cases have been reported in the same period.
Since March 3,420 cases have been confirmed in the Dorset Council area.
The number of cases in the BCP area over the latest rolling seven-day period is 249, with a rate of 63. In Dorset 150 cases have been confirmed in the last past seven days. The case rate is 39.6.
In the New Forest there were 10 new cases. The total in the district since the pandemic started is 1,995. A total of 100 cases have been seen in the past seven days and the case rate is 55.5.
