A BOURNEMOUTH man stole £1,378 worth of Calvin Klein underwear in the space of six days has appeared in court.
Jason McNally, aged 32, grabbed the branded products from Waitrose & Partners in Canary Wharf on February 1, February 2 and February 6.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates’ Court on December 9, the defendant, whose address was given as Hawkwood Road, Boscombe, was handed a community order to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirement, having admitted the thefts and a number of other crimes in Bournemouth.
He stole £71.36 of Ferrero Rocher and Lindor chocolates from Co-op in Christchurch Road on April 19. He snatched £20 of Ferrero Rocher from Tesco in the Triangle and assaulting a woman by beating her at the store on April 21. McNally burgled alcohol and cigarettes from Co-op in Queen’s Road on April 7.
The defendant was given a restraining order for the assault victim and ordered to pay Co-op £250 compensation.
