THE changing situation relating to Covid-19 across Dorset can be seen in a map on the government website.
The map, which uses data from Public Health England, shows a growth in cases across some parts of the county.
It grades Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs) on the severity of their rolling rate with places seeing the highest number of infections coloured purple, known as 'hotspots'.
Dorset does not currently have any coronavirus 'hotspots' identified on the map.
Oakdale East has seen 21 new cases with 26 in total, bringing the rolling rate per 100,000 people to 286.7.
Elsewhere across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, Central Bournemouth has nine new cases making 11 overall and giving a rate of 84.7.
Boscombe West has 10 new cases with 18 overall and a rate of 169.1.
Iford, which was previously classed as “suppressed” after recording fewer than three cases in the seven days to December 5, now has 12 cases and a rate of 159.1.
Meanwhile, Newtown has 11 new positive results bringing the total to 14. The rate is 128.3
Further afield, Merley has five new cases meaning there are 10 in total with a rate of 162.2.
Yetminster, Bradford Abbas & Longburton has seven new cases bringing the current total to 17 with a rate of 221.4.
And in Sherborne, five new cases have been reported giving 12 in total with a rate of 121.3.
