PROTESTERS gathered in Bournemouth town centre on Saturday, December 19 to demonstrate their disdain towards the restrictions imposed by coronavirus.
At 1pm about 100 people marched through the town centre from the town hall.
Many were holding handmade signs and were chanting in an attempt to encourage others to “believe the same as we do.”
Prior to the march at 1pm, the group gathered outside the town hall.
Mat Single travelled from East Sussex to show his support for the Bournemouth march.
He said: "We’ve come over to march and voice our greatest concerns about what is taking place. It all boils down to a basic principle, which is that we have become complacent with our freedoms. We have sat back on our laurels and become so complacent we have allowed ourselves to be controlled, pushed around and manipulated. We have forgotten how fragile freedom is. Not enough people are standing up.
"We’re exposing what is taking place, that’s why we’re here."
Protesters were greeted upon arrival at the town hall with a hug from organisers as well as a Christmas card.
Police liaison officers were situated around the town hall and walked alongside the protest.
Some attendees were keen to rebuke the "wrong information" the public has been provided with throughout the duration of the health crisis.
Sven Pillet from Bournemouth said: "I believe in freedom of choice and that the information we’ve been given is wrong information. There are a lot of facts that contradict what we’ve been told through mainstream media.
"The vaccine has been produced in record time. It normally takes years to produce a vaccine and we have one now in a space of a few months, which is impossible. This means that they already had one on the shelf for years and that they’ve been hiding information from us all that time.
"I’m capable of using my own common sense. You don’t have to be a doctor to work this out.
"I will never be taking the vaccination. Why would you when you feel healthy and asymptomatic?"
When presented with the counter-argument of how wearing a seatbelt in a car is an attempt to remain safe, similarly to a vaccination, Sven said: "Why would I put a Plaster of Paris on my leg just in case I might break it in five years’ time? The vaccine is out because it’s a roll-out and an agenda that has been financed by people in the tech industry, such as Bill Gates. The guy is after depopulation.
"Most of the people who have died are above the age of the average life expectancy in the UK anyway."
