A MAN who was taken to hospital after being found with a serious head injury in Boscombe is no longer in a life-threatening condition.
The man, who is aged in his 40s, was found unresponsive outside a block of flats in Southcote Road just before 9.30am on Saturday, December 19, 2020.
Over Christmas Dorset Police issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward, stating that the man was in a fight for life.
Providing an update on Tuesday, January 5, a force spokesman said: "We can confirm that the injured man continues to receive treatment in hospital but his condition is no longer believed to be life-threatening."
A 40-year-old woman from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. She was released on police bail.
A 35-year-old local man was also arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, while a 44-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Both arrested men were released under investigation.
