A CCTV appeal has been issued after a bank card left in a cash machine by mistake was used to make fraudulent payments.
The card was left in a machine at Tesco Express in Charminster Road, Bournemouth at 1.37pm on Christmas Eve.
At 2pm the same day the card was used to make contactless payments by an unknown man on four occasions at local stores.
Police Sergeant Gareth Bridger, of Dorset Police, said: "As part of our enquiries we have obtained a CCTV image and I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police."
Anyone with information is asked to call Dorset Police on 101, quoting occurrence number 55200193559, or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
