A MAN driving his new partner's car had not told her he was disqualified.
Police stopped a Vauxhall Insignia in Magna Road, Bear Cross to check documents.
A spokesman for the Dorset Police No Excuse team said: "When stopped, the well known male driver from the Blandford area admitted he was disqualified from driving.
"In the passenger seat was his new partner who was the owner of the vehicle but wasn’t aware he was disqualified. The driver has come to our attention a lot over the years.
"The driver was disqualified in January 2020 for a period of six months. In June he was caught driving whilst disqualified and his ban was further extended to March 2021 - it’s now likely to be extended even further."
The driver was reported for the offences and the vehicle was seized.
