EMERGENCY services were called to Bournemouth beach to reports of a person in difficulty in the sea.
Police, coastguards and RNLI volunteers all attended the scene just after 7.30pm last night.
Christchurch residents urged to persevere through lockdown
A spokesman for Southbourne Coastguard said they were tasked by the national maritime operations centre. Poole Coastguard Rescue Team and Poole RNLI were also called.
Whilst en route the crews were informed that the casualty was out of the water and in the care of the police.
