PREPARATION of the BIC as a regional coronavirus mass vaccination centre has ramped up – but authorities have still not confirmed when it will begin administering jabs.
NHS signage for the ‘Covid-19 Vaccination Centre Bournemouth’ has been erected at the rear of the conference and events centre near Purbeck Hall.
Last week, Graham Farrant, BCP Council chief executive, said the BIC would be up and running in “due course”.
He added: And I think that ‘in due course’ will be in the next week or two.”
The Daily Echo asked local health authorities for an update on the vaccine centre yesterday. A Dorset CCG spokesperson said they “aren’t able to add anything further at the moment”.
