THE total number of people who have died with coronavirus in Dorset hospitals surpassed 450, as eight more were confirmed.
Data from NHS Englannd confirmed six more people died at the University Hospitals Dorset, two on January 16 and four on January 15.
It means 370 people have now died with Covid019 at UHD since the start of the pandemic.
One more person died at the Dorset County Hospital on January 15 and one more died at the Dorset Healthcare Trust on January 12.
It takes their totals to 45 and 40 respectively.
Across England, a further 631 people died in hospital with coronavirus, taking the total to 60,921.
Patients were aged between 29 and 103 years old and all but 31 had underlying health conditions, the deaths dated back to November 5 with the majority coming after January 12.
The south west recorded 34 deaths.
