THE body of a man was found in Bournemouth on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to West Overcliff Drive shortly before 8am, with police and ambulance crews attending the scene.
A Dorset Police spokesman said the death of the man aged in his 30s was confirmed at 8.05am and it is not being treated as suspicious.
"Dorset Police received a report at 7.49am on Sunday, January 17, that the body of a man aged in his 30s had been found by a member of the public in the area of West Overcliff Drive in Bournemouth," said the force spokesman.
"Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and very sadly the death was confirmed at 8.05am.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious. The man’s next of kin have been informed and the coroner has been notified.
"Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this time."
