COASTGUARDS were alerted after a jet ski was found adrift in Poole overnight.
Teams from Southbourne and Poole were called by the national maritime operations centre at half past midnight following te discovery at lake Pier in Hamworthy.
Body of man in his 30s found in Bournemouth
A search was carried out for the vessel's owner and searches were also made at local slipways to ensure there were no abandoned vehicles or trailers.
Nothing was found and the teams were stood down.
