TWO bodies have been found at an address in Poole.
The pair, a man and a woman who police believe were known to one another, were discovered after concerns were raised in relation to the welfare of the occupants of the property.
Dorset Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
However, they are being treated as unexplained and no-one else is being sought in connection with the incident.
Neighbours reported police activity at the residential address in Upton, Poole, earlier this morning.
Police have remained at the scene all day, and forensics officers have also been working to establish what has happened.
Meanwhile, a Dorset Police spokesman confirmed: "At around 9.15am on Thursday 21 January 2021 officers attended an address in Dorchester Road in the Upton area of Poole following concerns raised in relation to the welfare of the occupants.
"Very sadly, the bodies of a man and woman were found.
"An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding their deaths, which are currently being treated as unexplained.
