A MAN who had more than three kilograms of cannabis has been jailed for several months.
Elvis Sula, aged 29 and of no fixed abode, at appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 20.
He admitted a single charge of possessing 3.089 kilograms of the class B drug with intent to supply it to persons unknown in Marlborough Road, Bournemouth, on January 18.
District judge Stephen Nicholls committed Sula to prison for 16 weeks, noting the seriousness of the offence due to amount of drugs involved and that the defendant had only been in the country a matter of days.
There was also an order to pay a £128 surcharge and the drugs were to be forfeited and destroyed.
