MORE than 610 people have now died with coronavirus in Dorset hospitals after a further 14 deaths were recorded at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust.
Four more people died at UHD’s hospitals with Covid-19 on January 27, five died on January 26, four died on January 25 and one death with Covid-19 was recorded on December 18.
It means a total of 497 people have died with Covid-19 at UHD since the start of the pandemic.
The total number of coronavirus deaths at the Dorset County Hospital remained at 69, and 50 people have died with the virus under the care of the Dorset healthcare Trust.
It means 616 people have now died with coronavirus in the county’s hospitals.
Across England, a further 907 people died in hospital, taking the total to 69,801.
Patients were aged between 25 and 104-years-old and all but 33 had underlying health conditions.
The deaths date back to November 11 and 67 came in the south west.
