THE Manor is one of the south's legendary nightclubs from the past – despite not being open for that long.
The venue, situated near Matchams on the Hampshire and Dorset border, was once a mansion house and former retreat for Lord Nelson.
Following the opening of a nightclub at the site in September 1994, revellers flocked from all around the country to listen to a variety of dance music across three rooms.
Party goers were often treated to DJ sets from big names such as Carl Cox, Slipmat, Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Grooverider, John Digweed, Tony De Vit, Danny Rampling and more.
The days of partying came to an end in 1999 when the manor house made way for luxury houses.
