ALLOTMENT holders have been warned to be on their guard after a spate of thefts from sheds and outbuildings.
North Dorset Police said several burglaries have been reported in allotments at Cemetery Road in Gillingham.
CCTV appeal after French Bulldog is kicked in the stomach
A spokesman said: "There have been several reports of sheds being broken into. Check your security and beat the garden thief."
Gardeners were also urged to security mark their tools.
