RESIDENTS across Dorset have woken to a light dusting of snow this morning.
A yellow Met Office weather warning for snow has been in force since the early hours on Monday.
And the forecast delivered a sprinkling of the white stuff across BCP and rural Dorset areas overnight.
The warning remains active until tomorrow night, with potential for frequent snow showers leading to travel disruption in places, although some locations in the large area covered by the warning will miss the showers altogether.
Today is set to remain cloudy across the conurbation with highs of just 2°C, however, the wind chill means it will feel like -4°C.
Members of the Echo Camera Club Dorset have been sharing their snow snaps this morning.
Richard Murgatroyd was up nice and early to capture this beautiful scene at Corfe Castle Station.
Meanwhile, Michelle Herbert confirmed for us that there was an overnight snow shower in Poole.
And Georgie Foy spotted a smattering of snow on the sand down at the beach.
