AN ENCAMPMENT outside Debenhams which attracted drug use has been removed by police.
Officers were in Bournemouth town centre early this morning, Wednesday, February 10 to investigate complaints made about the encampment, which attracted drug use with needles being left outside the store.
Anti-social behaviour was also reported.
As of this morning, the encampment has been removed to prevent further issues.
According to police, the occupant of the encampment has been placed in accommodation and is receiving the right support.
The property is being stored at the council for 48 hours in the event of someone coming forward to claim it.
No personal items were left.
