DAILY reported Covid case numbers in Dorset have continued to fall, according to the latest update.
Data released by the Government shows that in the 24 hours up to 4pm on Wednesday, February 10, 127 coronavirus cases were reported across the county.
The BCP Council area recorded 92 new positive tests, taking the conurbation’s total since the start of the pandemic to 23,515.
In the seven days leading up to February 5, the latest seven-day rolling period, 1,051 cases were recorded in BCP, giving an infection rate of 265.9 cases per 100,000 people.
The Dorset Council area recorded 35 new coronavirus cases, taking the total to 10,466.
The seven-day infection rate stood at 154.6 per 100,000 people, with 585 cases confirmed in a week.
Yesterday, 148 Covid cases were reported across the county.
Elsewhere, 13 cases were confirmed in the New Forest, taking the total to 5,572.
The rolling infection rate was 115.5 after 208 cases were confirmed in the seven days up to and including February 5.
