A MAN has been jailed after damaging the window of a cafe in Bournemouth town centre.
Christian Keith Perry, aged 49 and of no fixed abode, committed the criminal damage at Cafe Obscura in the Square on February 16.
Appearing in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court later the same day, he admitted the single charge.
The bench committed Perry to prison for three months, noting the offence was so serious because it was a deliberate act of criminal damage committed in order to be returned to prison.
Magistrates also said he had a previous history of criminal behaviour, including numerous counts of similar offending.
Perry was also ordered to pay £250 compensation.
