THE days are getting longer as we head into spring with more time to get outside and take advantage of the lighter mornings and evenings.
This weekend will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors with lots of sunshine on the cards.
If you’re planning to get out and about, here’s what to expect.
According to the Met Office, there will be some early mist at around 7am on Saturday but it will give way to an absolutely glorious day. There will be sunshine all day although it will be chilly to start.

It will feel like -2C up until 7am but from 9am temperatures will start to climb. Highs of around 12C are expected around 12noon with wall to wall sunshine up until sunset when it feel like 8C.
Sunday is set to be a similar story with temperatures feeling around 3C at 9am with highs of 11C during the middle of the day. However, it is expected to feel like 8C, but it will be a very pleasant day with lots more sunshine.

Overnight on Sunday it will feel like 2C or 3C.
Looking ahead to next week, the dry conditions are set to continue with highs up to 15C expected in Bournemouth on Wednesday.
Under the current lockdown, Dorset residents have been advised that outdoor exercise should be done at "the closest location where it is safest" to do so.
